Viewing Weather Information
When you’re checking the day ahead, Timeline already displays your calendar events and – with the Actions integration – your upcoming to-dos. Since so many of the important things in our day revolve around the weather, we chose to include a shortcut to getting the week’s weather information right in your Timeline.
To see the weather forecast, navigate to the Timeline panel and tap and hold anywhere on the screen. After a short period of time, Timeline will transition from its normal calendar mode into a weather view.
In this streamlined look into the weather, you’ll see a glyph representing the day’s forecast, the high and low temperatures, and the chance of precipitation. This is meant to be the quickest way to view what’s coming up – if you’d like to see hourly weather information, tap into Day View.
