Travel and Directions

When considering the time and date of your events, it’s also important to think about how long it will take to get there and if you need directions. Timepage has travel time and direction support, and the Travel and Directions preference can help you customize how you receive and use these features.

Travel Modes

Depending on where you live, you may only have access to a certain travel method. For example, those in big cities are unlikely to drive, whereas someone in the suburb may not be able to walk to their destination. Instead of requiring you to select a travel method each time you add a location, we’ve provided three travel modes for you to choose from as a default.

In the Travel and Directions preference, you can have Timepage default to either driving, walking, or bicycling. Also available is a toggle for advanced modes, which include travel estimates for things like race car and Powered Suit.

App for Directions

Directions in Timepage can come from three different apps: Apple Maps, Google Maps, and Waze. Though Apple Maps is the default, Timepage will launch any of the three options when you tap the directions button.

Travel Icons

You can change the icons by tapping the “Travel Icons” button at the bottom of the screen. Swipe left and right on each section of icons to see the different options, and when you’re happy, tap the back arrow at the top of the screen. There’s lots to choose from!
