Creating with Flow

Tool Dock

Flow keeps your drawing tools in the Tool Dock. Much like picking up and putting down real tools, the Tool Dock allows you to quickly find and select your next tool with just a tap as you draw.

Creating a new tool

To add a new tool, tap the “+” icon at the bottom of the Dock. This will automatically duplicate the selected tool and you can then change its properties in the Tool Editor.

As you continue to add pens, pencils, and markers, the Tool Dock will expand. Don’t worry about adding too many tools – the Tool Dock can hold as many as you need. Should you have a large set of drawing utensils in the Tool Dock, you can scroll to find the one you need.

Rearranging tools

To organize the Tool Dock, tap and hold on a tool and drag it up or down.

Deleting tools

Similarly, deleting a tool is done with drag and drop. Once you’ve chosen a tool, drag it to the trash icon at the bottom of the Tool Dock to delete it.

Swapping sides

By default, the Tool Dock is on the right side of the screen. If you’d like it to swap to the other side, push the Dock toward the edge of the screen.
